Hi Barb,
Give "Chipper" a big hug for me and tell him thank you ! I love the elegance, style, carriage and headpieces of his pups. Couldn't have asked for anything more !! And like you, I absolutely adore his little girl, she is not only beautiful but cocky and confident as well, a nice combination in my book. Yet, when you hold her, she loves to cuddle, but on the ground, she owns the world. I will get pictures again when they are a little older, it was fun to see what they looked like when we took these pictures last night. It helps me confirm what I'm seeing when they are running around playing, pretty outlines and movement.

Hi Barb,
It has been a long time since I sent photos and an update on Tux. He is
as wonderful as ever! He just finished 6 weeks working with autistic
students at the elementary school here. The program went very well and
we hope to do more of that type of work. He still visits once a month
at the local senior apartments/center and spends half of his time in the
memory care unit. It is a very rewarding volunteer opportunity. Also,
next week we will be visiting with a man who has had many health issues
who is now in a hospice type situation. Tux just brings his love and
gentle nature to all of these places. You would be so proud of him!

Hi Barb,
Thought I'd give you an update on the Chipper babies out of Echo. I ended up keeping the flashy fawn girl "Ditto" and the plain fawn male "Keegan". They are now five months old and looking fantastic. In fact, I'm taking both to ABC. They will be one week over six months so they will obviously be at the bottom of their class for age. I'm proud of these two puppies and believe they deserve to be there.
I'm also dropping a DVD into the mail today of the puppies for you to see. Keep in mind that this is only the third time these puppies have ever been on a lead so don't expect perfection. I was very surprised at how well they did and how good they looked on tape.
Hope you enjoy the DVD, love to know what you think of the puppies. I absolutely love them. They are by far, the best I've had yet. Thank you Barb.

Sorry it's been so long since I've written. But anyway, hope everything is going well. Hannah is doing just wonderful. She's a big girl, weighs just a hair under 60 lbs. She's got a great personality. She's very independent, although at times she is just my lap dog , which I don't mind, of course. I get so many compliments on how beautiful and healthy she looks. She LOVES to play. I love her dearly and am so grateful to have her. She makes life so much nicer!!! Once again, hope all is well, and I'll send more pics later.

Barb, I can't tell you enough how much I love this little dog! She is sooo smart. It took one day to realize that when she had her little dog coat on that she was going somewhere. She stands like a statue while I put it on or take it off. Once that collar and leash goes on....she's ready to take on the world and show everyone just how beautiful she is ! Sorry for being so long winded, but I get excited everytime I talk about Betty.

"Spirit" has done it again! What lovely puppies that Linda has out of Annie and sired by Spirit. I especially like the headpiece on the last boy (the one taken without a stacked pic). I think we should all get together (pet owners and show owners alike) and have one big "love in" fest and bring our Spirit offspring with us. What a picture that would make!!

Hi Barb,
Here are some pictures we took a week ago to give you an idea of what they look like so far. I love this litter of puppies ! Not only did I get pretty heads, but their bodies and top lines are absolutely gorgeous. There's not a pet in the bunch . The little girl is definitely staying, she's adorable and knows it. In fact, she already has a name which means she's a keeper for sure. Her name will be Ditto, the last cocker I had with that name was almost 35 years ago.

Just wanted to write and give you an update. Hannah was at the Vet this week and now weighs just under 20 pounds!! I'm so glad she's such a good eater. She has also now learned to go down the stairs. Our Lil' Miss Daisy is the princess of the family. We were suppose to get a lab puppy to be Eric's hunting dog. He made the comment the other day that he now thinks "Boxers are his favorite dog "Barb...I may need a new 2007 baby.... Even a few relatives that are not "dog people" have fallen for her. She is the best lil" pup our family could have!!! Glad to hear the others are happy and settling in with their new families.

6/23/06 Hi Barb - I have been meaning to write to you for some time now, just wanted to let you know that our little girl Scarlet is doing very well. She and our other boxer, Tiger (litter 2/13/04) are the best of friends. They have formed a very special bond , and Tiger is very protective of her. Scarlet is weighing in at a healthy 25 pounds. She still comes to work with me, though not every day now. Bruce and I are enjoying her very much. I will send pictures very soon.

Just thought you'd like to know that are boy Jazz, took his first point yesterday. I'm so proud of him. He looks good, just doesn't know what to do with all of his angles. But I love them and I'm sure he'll find out where to put them. I'll send a copy of the picture when it comes. We had a very good weekend, took all three sides on Saturday and 2 sides on Sunday, with a group 4, on a 9 to 12 puppy bitch.

Barb - I like the new gallery of Spirit's "get" . It's great seeing "Ranger"
as part of his offsprings . Just please make sure you have enough sperm
put aside because I really want to breed to him again and I won't be
breeding anytime soon. I actually thought of buying one of Linda
Kulow's (Spirit) pups and maybe I will look for a Spirit daughter sometime in the
future.

I can't say enough about my girl Kailey. She got so many great qualities from her Daddy, Spirit. I think she took after him the most. This picture shows it all -- her short back, high tailset, beautiful rear and front, and look at her feet and pasterns! All of these things I believe she got from Spirit.
